Thank you for taking this step toward your healing journey. However you’ve arrived here—whether you feel ready, uncertain, hopeful, or afraid—I want you to know you’re not alone. This is a space where you are seen, heard, and valued.
Therapy is a space for exploration, healing, and reconnection. It’s a place where every part of you is welcome, even the pieces that have been silenced or hidden away. As a therapist, I feel humbled and honoured to walk beside you as you move toward your most authentic and whole self.
If this is your first time in therapy, you might notice many emotions—relief, fear, curiosity, or even overwhelm. That’s completely understandable. Opening your story to someone new can take a great deal of courage.
I believe you already hold the inner strength and wisdom needed for healing. My role is to help you access that inner knowing at a pace that feels safe for you. I approach each session with curiosity, compassion, and non-judgment, creating a space where you can begin to trust your own process.
Together, we will move gently—pausing when needed, grounding when things feel big, and celebrating moments of growth along the way.
If you’ve been in therapy before—welcome back. I’m so glad you’ve chosen to continue your healing journey. Whatever your past experiences have been, positive or difficult, you are welcome here as your full self.
Healing often unfolds in layers. As the saying goes, “Life is like an onion”—each time we peel back another layer, we uncover new meaning, strength, and understanding. Revisiting familiar themes doesn’t mean going backwards; it’s part of deepening your relationship with yourself. Together, we’ll honour what you already know and build upon it in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
Therapy can sometimes feel tender and challenging, and at other times like a breath of fresh air. However you arrive, I will meet you where you are—with warmth, presence, and respect for your pace.
You are invited to bring your authentic self into each session, even if that self feels uncertain or guarded. All emotions are welcome here. Over time, my hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can reclaim safety within yourself, reconnect with your body and emotions, and move toward the life you deserve and desire.
