Sandi Taylor Counselling & Consulting offers a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy in the southern part of Manitoba.
We understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big and sometimes overwhelming step. Our goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported throughout the process. Therapy is not about being “fixed” — it’s about being seen, heard, and empowered to move toward healing at your own pace.
We provide a range of services designed to meet you where you are:
Every person’s story is unique, and we honour that uniqueness in every session. Our work is grounded in respect, collaboration, and compassion, ensuring your voice and choice are central to the process.
We are dedicated to providing care that is effective, ethical, and empowering. Our intention is to make your time with us as meaningful and supportive as possible — helping you reconnect with your strengths and the parts of yourself that are ready to heal.
At Sandi Taylor Counselling & Consulting, we believe anyone can benefit from the support of therapy. We invite you to explore our site and reach out if you feel we may be a good fit for your needs.
You can expect to be met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine respect — always with the dignity you deserve.

As a social worker in private practice for over 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people across all ages and stages of life. My work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and connection.
I support individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and walk alongside many who have been directly or indirectly impacted by trauma related to Residential and Day Schools. It is an honour to hold space for these stories and to witness the resilience and healing that emerge through the process.
I embrace the uniqueness of every person and invite your authentic self into the therapeutic space. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and right for you.
Whether you are grieving a loss, carrying the effects of trauma, feeling disconnected from yourself, or simply sensing that something in your life no longer fits, I will meet you with compassion and support.
My goal is to help you move toward wholeness, balance, and self-understanding—to reconnect with the strengths that already exist within you. Healing looks different for everyone, and our work together will be guided by your needs, values, and hopes for change.
I believe that every person carries their own wisdom and capacity for healing. Sometimes, life’s experiences can make it hard to access that inner voice — therapy offers a safe and supportive space to reconnect with it.
My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are, without judgment or expectation. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, exploring new ways of being and finding what safety, connection, and growth mean in your life.
I honour each person as a unique individual who deserves care, attention, and compassion. My role is not to lead, but to walk beside you, offering guidance and tools that support your own healing process.
I strive to help you recognize and strengthen the resilience and wisdom that already exist within you, drawing on a variety of approaches and techniques gathered over my years as a therapist.
I work with children and youth experiencing a range of challenges, including FAS, ADHD/ADD, attachment and behavioural concerns, grief, gender identity exploration, mental health struggles, and the impacts of trauma.
My approach is grounded in creating a space of safety, trust, and acceptance, where young people can express themselves in the ways that feel most natural.
I use a combination of play-based approaches, emotional release techniques, and talking therapy to support healing and growth.
When appropriate and with respect, I may incorporate First Nation teachings I have received, as these can provide meaningful pathways to connection, identity, and balance in the healing process.
I work with adults experiencing mental health concerns, addictions, FAS, ADHD/ADD, attachment and relationship issues, grief, gender identity exploration, and the effects of trauma.
Every person’s healing journey is unique. I believe in tailoring therapy to the individual, using approaches that align with each person’s experiences, goals, and readiness. My work integrates emotional release techniques and other evidence-informed methods to help restore balance and well-being.
When it feels appropriate, and always with cultural sensitivity and permission, I may incorporate First Nation teachings I have received to support healing, grounding, and self-connection.
